The Young Democrats of South Carolina is a chartered member of the Young Democrats of America (YDA). YDSC often works with the South Carolina Democratic Party (SCDP), the South Carolina High School Democrats (SCHSD), and the College Democrats of South Carolina (CDSC) to reach our mutual goals.

The Third Vice Chair of the Beaufort County Democratic Party's Executive Committee is a Young Democrat aged 18-36. They are charged with helping chapters and organizations of young Democrats.
Several local universities and high schools have started Democratic Clubs and organizations. BCDP is supportive of these efforts and is happy to be of assistance to any group of young democrats in Beaufort County.
