The 2026 Blue Star Gala will be our largest and most impactful event ever as we approach election day with 23 candidates on the ballot in Beaufort County.

Join the Beaufort County Democratic Party and special guests for our fourth annual fundraising dinner, taking place Saturday, September 26, 2026 in downtown Beaufort, South Carolina.

The Blue Star Gala is an opportunity for Democrats to gather in solidarity and celebration, honor the commitment of our volunteers and supporters, and enjoy esteemed guest speakers.

The Gala is also critical to funding the Beaufort County Democratic Party's mission of recruiting, supporting and electing Democratic candidates. 

After three years of sold-out evenings, the Blue Star Gala has a spacious new home in the lovely ballroom at the Holiday Inn Beaufort. The Sponsors' Reception overlooks the Lowcountry marsh; the full Harvest Moon will add to a spectacular night!

Each year, generous sponsors make the Gala a grand success for Democrats in Beaufort County. This year, the Gala Committee has set an ambitious goal to raise $75,000. Funds raised will be used to turn out the vote using grassroots and digital strategies, and to continue the ongoing work of supporting candidates and turning Beaufort County.

In an effort to make this year’s Gala our most successful ever, we have added a Hope Diamond Sponsorship Level at $5,000. The Hope Diamond is the largest dark blue diamond in the world and is prized as one of the most valuable and rare gems on earth. This moniker also speaks to our state motto, “While I breathe, I hope.”
